Whitbread Design interface update.

Tags:  Whitbread Design Update

Whitbread Design has been given (in my opinion) a long overdue face-lift. Much has changed from content management and usability perspective.

If you consider the main teaser, side teaser, and portfolio ''blog style''. These are not all new functions on whitbreaddesign.com but the way they appear in the database has been overhauled completely. All of these sections are controlled by a single table. This table contains toggles which can turn off whether or not they will appear on the top or side in addition to the main content section.

From a usability perspective, the main attraction (teaser) section at the top of the page is a strong improvement. A user can now come to whitbreaddesign.com and know exactly what is important immediately.

I hope you like the changes so far! More complex functions (comments, security, optimization) and cross browser compatibility testing (sorry IE) are in progress.
